Gloria Bouillon -
Beverly Airport Manager
Being in love with aviation her whole life, Gloria Bouillon is the now the Airport Manager for Beverly Regional Airport. She oversees all facility activities, planning and managing the operations, business administration, to lease development from various revenue streams to lead strategic long and short term vision to the enhancement of the airport. She identifies and secures additional revenue sources, including multi-million dollar capital improvement projects and grant acquisition from State and Federal Agencies. She builds strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the community, local and regional governmental officials, tenants, Commission and business partners and organizations to ensure a well-run, efficiently executed operating business.
She graduated with high honors from Dowling College School of Aviation and has received various certifications in airport management.
Through her various experiences, she is able to promote a balance between the desires of airport operators, and community members alike through collaborative and innovative approaches. She enjoys everything about the industry, understanding each airport's unique characteristics, challenges, and coming up with creative solutions.
Before becoming the Airport Manager of Beverly Regional Airport, she was the Airport Manager for Pittsfield Municipal Airport. Previously as an aviation planner, she created strategic business and master plans for airports. She has a strong background in airport operations and security, aviation insurance, airport dispatch and was an aircraft rescue firefighter.
Outside of work, she has a professional photography business. She continues her passion in the aviation field by still flying with a commercial pilot's license. Although she manages the airport, she gets no break on fuel!
Officer Megan Tierney -
Newburyport Police Department
Officer Megan Tierney has been in law enforcement since 2009, beginning her career as a Reserve Officer for the Town of Newbury. She joined the Newburyport Police Department as a full time officer in 2012, becoming the third female officer in the agency's history. She currently holds the position of School Resource Officer, focusing on issues affecting the youth of the community, family issues and criminal matters as they arise. Recently, Megan was awarded a position on a vocational training team with the Rotary International Service Organization. This trip will provide her and four other school resource officers the opportunity to travel to England and teach about substance abuse prevention work, school safety and community partnerships. Megan continues to battle breast cancer and has shared this struggle publicly, finding an overwhelming amount of support coming from the community she serves. Megan is married to Officer Joshua Tierney, who also works for the Newburyport Police Department. They enjoy life with their two daughters and their dog, Dude.
