at 5 pm - RSVP TODAY!
What is your first thought when you are invited to a networking event? Do you freeze and then go into a sort of "drop-down menu" in your mind? What is networking? Who will be there? Will I fit in? Where will I have to travel to (not today you don't!)? Why do I need networking in business? Your mind may race and then you might put it aside for later. Later becomes the next time you are invited to an event, perhaps, going through the same dialog, the same menu of questions, and so on. Cindy Moore, current NSWIB President, and Mo Levasseur, past President of NSWIB will share their networking journeys and how they built and continue to build their businesses. If you are in business and plan to stay in business, networking facilities the relationship-building part that really must occur. Cindy and Mo will share how any type of personality can find their own way of successful networking which in turn will grow your business. Looking forward to sharing our collective experience of networking!
ABOUT CINDY MOORE & MO LEVASSEUR
Cindy has been in the insurance profession for 17+ years now writing all types of property/casualty insurance. She specializes in home, auto, and business insurance. She graduated from Dean College in 89 with a business and fashion merchandising degree and worked in retail for 15 years before having two children and stayed at home for 7 years. She worked for her family business for 5 years starting in 2009 while continuing in insurance until 2014. At that time realizing that the family business was not her calling she decided to go for her real estate license. She now does insurance and real estate simultaneously. Licensed in both Mass and NH most recently. These two professions work well together and she loves insuring and selling both commercial and residential real estate.
In 2001, after working for a private investigator for 6 years, Mo Levasseur obtained her own PI license and established Profile Research, Inc. a background check agency and investigative agency. As a solo-owner, she began working out of her home and as the business grew, she hired employees and moved to office space. In 2001, Mo joined her first networking group and saw the potential it could have in growing the business. Since 2001, Mo's entire business has grown from networking referrals and establishing relationships. Mo has never paid for advertising to grow the business. Mo is looking forward to sharing what her networking experience has been for the past 20 years and answering any questions. Some "background info" on Mo is that she is a Past President of North Shore Women in Business (2018 and 2019); formed a non-profit charity named Solace for Stephanie (2009) in memory of her friend that passed of cancer; was a Fox News Home Town Hero (2014) and an Unsung Heroine of the MA Commission of the Status of Women (2017).
